Baby Steps...

Have you ever had a dream where you were moving in slow motion... looking ahead at the destination, it seems you are moving but suddenly you realize that you haven't moved an inch?

Emily Rose Designs if kind of like that. My friend Amy and I are trying to get my little business off the ground. It is slow going. First we have to find the time when we can get together... in between our other jobs, sick kids, sick selves... it is a job to try to get this dream off the ground. We press on though and one of these days I know that it will be a reality.

I should take it back... we have gotten a few significant things accomplished. This Blog... My PayPal account, pictures of my art. Done. Done. Done!

Okay, I have a confession to make. I have jumped in with both feet and it wasn't long before I realized that while I can float (I heard one day that women with big boobs float better than women with little ones... that's what my husband tells me anyway! Okay, back to the subject...), I don't know how to swim... YET!

I know nothing about computers! Can you believe it... I decided to start a business, a computer based business no less.... When I got my beautiful DELL, we plugged it in and couldn't figure out how to start the darn thing. So, for a few days we just looked at it. It is pretty. And... I can paint. So I thought what the heck...

My friend Amy came over to help me set up my email accounts etc... she said, "Okay, go the blue "e"... click on the blue "E". " I thought what, do I snap my fingers or what... CLICK... CLICK. My lights go on that way so maybe that was what she meant. I have come a long way, floating along with the current does get you somewhere sometimes!

I am excited... something new. Hope you will join me on this journey and be inspired by what one little back woods artist from Montana can do!!!
